The latest addition to our extensive publication list is this excellent volume by Committee members, Michael and Peter Ferguson covering a selection of Horse Parades. As the authors relate, this volume, "deliberately sets out to paint the background to the picture in which award brasses are the focal point. (p.1) The authors also underline how "the parades were not held against an unchanging world," and how the decline of the working horse parades were just one small window into a rapidly changing social scene in the period when such occasions still enjoyed topical popularity.
A definate "Must-Have" for the collectors of Parade Brasses, and of course a valuable addition to the library of the more general collector at a mere £9.50, (£11.00 overseas) so order yours now whilst stocks last. Both prices include post.
